Resolved Question: House deed’s name change without probate (uk)?

Is it possible to change my late husbands name on our house deed’s to my name without going probate as we cannot afford it…. His will says that everything in his estate is left to me his wife… which is the house which is bought and payed for and we live in.. ( 45 yrs.)He did not have any savings nor did he any debt’s..we are a simple family just me and my son (im 72 and son is 42 years old)
Its a worry for me….can anyone take my house away from me or what will happen if i leave deeds as they are…. how do i get out of this ….thank you for your time reading my story and i really appreciate your answers (i am in UK )
