Resolved Question: Help….. house ownership issue?

I live in a house that my wife lived in when I meet her. Her husband before me died and the estate never went through probate court. The house deed only has his name on the deed. His mother was a co-signer on the mortgage though. I was just wondering who owns this house and who has the right to kick us out of it? We pay the mortgage every month even though we arnt on it. I always figured that as long as we paid the mortgage nothing would come up. I plan on to keep paying the mortgage but issues with the former mother in law has come up. Does she have the right as a co signer to do anything to us?
We have tried to put the house through probate and the bond keeps getting rejected. Even the co signer tried and the bond was rejected. And for the common sense person here, guess you think I’m really that stupid, but this is a lot more complicated then I think you realize.
