My grandfather passed away last year and his house is in probate. He left my mom to take care of stuff. Me, my husband and our 3 kids are living in the home. We want to buy the home after its out of probate. His property taxes are do. If my husband pays the property taxes that are still in his name, would we have to pay property taxes again after me and my husband buy the house? Hope that makes sense. lol Plus I think if we don’t pay it they will put a lean on the house then we will have to leave.
